itchy; fever; my eyes are itchy; my nose is constantly leaking; i feel constantly bunged up; drug ineffective; sars-cov-2 infection; hay fever; this is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (consumer or other non hcp) from the regulatory authority (ra). the reporter is the patient. regulatory number: gb-mhra-webcovid-202202171513227330-ec9k7. other case identifier(s): gb-mhra-adr 26621086. a 42 year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (comirnaty), administration date 30dec2021 (batch/lot number: unknown) as dose 3 (booster), single for covid-19 immunisation. relevant medical history included: "interchange of vaccine products" (unspecified if ongoing). the patient's concomitant medications were not reported. it was reported that patient was not enrolled in clinical trial. vaccination history included: covid-19 vaccine (dose 1, manufacturer unknown), for covid-19 immunisation; covid-19 vaccine (dose 2, manufacturer unknown), for covid-19 immunisation. the following information was reported: drug ineffective (medically significant) with onset 23jan2022, outcome "unknown", described as "drug ineffective"; covid-19 (medically significant) with onset 23jan2022, outcome "not recovered", described as "sars-cov-2 infection"; pruritus (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "itchy"; pyrexia (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "fever"; seasonal allergy (non-serious) with onset 02jan2022, outcome "not recovered", described as "hay fever"; eye pruritus (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "my eyes are itchy"; rhinorrhoea (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "my nose is constantly leaking"; feeling abnormal (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "i feel constantly bunged up". the patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: sars-cov-2 test: (16feb2022) negative, notes: no - negative covid-19 test. therapeutic measures were taken as a result of pruritus, pyrexia, seasonal allergy, eye pruritus, rhinorrhoea, feeling abnormal. clinical course: patient started having hay fever symptoms which she usually only got this during the summer. patient had to start taking antihistamines to try and manage it but they are not as effective as before. it was reported that this report was not related to possible inflammation of the heart (myocarditis or pericarditis). no follow-up attempts are possible; information about lot/batch number cannot be obtained. no further information is expected
