localised pain; painful arm; this is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (consumer or other non hcp) from a regulatory authority. regulatory number: gb-mhra-webcovid-202202180931104070-9zlts. other case identifier(s): gb-mhra-adr 26619032. a 12 year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (comirnaty), administration date 07feb2022 (lot number: fl9994) as dose 2, single for covid-19 immunisation. the patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. vaccination history included: bnt162b2 (dose-1), for covid-19 immunisation. the following information was reported: pain in extremity (medically significant) with onset 08feb2022, outcome "not recovered", described as "painful arm"; pain (medically significant), outcome "not recovered", described as "localised pain". the patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: sars-cov-2 test: (10feb2022) negative, notes: no - negative covid-19 test. patient has not had symptoms associated with covid-19. the pain was continuing and he was not being able to lie down on that side, or not using that arm to do any activity. the original reaction was normal localised pain, but this continuous pain developed within a week following the vaccine administering. patient has not tested positive for covid-19 since having the vaccine. patient is not enrolled in clinical trial. the reporter did not relate to possible inflammation of the heart (myocarditis or pericarditis). no follow-up attempts are possible. no further information is expected
