skin inflammation; primary immunisation: moderna; booster: comirnaty; primary immunisation: moderna; booster: comirnaty; feels bad; heart racing; fast pulse; lump in forearm; this is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (consumer or other non hcp) from the regulatory authority (ra). the reporter is the patient. regulatory number: gb-mhra-webcovid-202202232206193450-5jua5 (ra). other case identifier(s): gb-mhra-adr 26643696 (ra). a 29 year-old female patient (not pregnant) received bnt162b2 (comirnaty), administration date 22feb2022 (batch/lot number: unknown) at the age of 29 years as dose 3 (booster), single for covid-19 immunisation. the patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. vaccination history included: covid-19 vaccine moderna (dose 2, single; lot number: unknown), administration date: 30aug2021, for covid-19 immunisation; covid-19 vaccine moderna (dose 1, single; lot number: unknown), administration date: 28jun2021, for covid-19 immunisation. the following information was reported: off label use (medically significant), interchange of vaccine products (medically significant) all with onset 22feb2022, outcome "unknown" and all described as "primary immunisation: moderna; booster: comirnaty"; heart rate increased (medically significant) with onset feb2022, outcome "not recovered", described as "fast pulse"; feeling abnormal (medically significant) with onset 22feb2022, outcome "recovering", described as "feels bad"; palpitations (medically significant) with onset 22feb2022, outcome "recovered" (23feb2022), described as "heart racing"; dermatitis (medically significant) with onset 23feb2022, outcome "not recovered", described as "skin inflammation"; limb mass (medically significant) with onset feb2022, outcome "unknown", described as "lump in forearm". the patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: heart rate: (feb2022) fast pulse; sars-cov-2 test: (unspecified date) no - negative covid-19 test. the clinical course was reported as follows: the patient had a lump in her arm. it was not in the vaccination area but in the forearm. it was red and when she ran her finger over it, it was clearly noticeable that there was a lump that was not there before the patient received the vaccine. the patient had also been a whole day with a very fast pulse. the patient had no symptoms associated with covid-19 and was not enrolled in clinical trial. the patient was not pregnant and was not breastfeeding at the time of this report. the patient had not been tested positive for covid-19 since having the vaccine. the report of the patient was not related to possible inflammation of the heart (myocarditis or pericarditis). no follow-up attempts are possible; information about lot/batch number cannot be obtained. no further information is expected
