inappropriate age at vaccine administration; severe itchiness in lower body for over 2 weeks; severe tiredness for over 2 weeks / not normal for 10 year old sports boy to be tired all the time; this is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter(s) (consumer or other non hcp) from the ra. -web. regulatory number: ie-hpra-2022-093056. other case identifier(s): ie-hpra-cvarr2022021425800. a 10 year-old male patient received bnt162b2 (comirnaty), administration date 07jan2022 (lot number: fn4071) as dose 1, 10ug single for covid-19 immunisation. the patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. the following information was reported: pruritus (medically significant) with onset 08jan2022, outcome "recovered" (2022), described as "severe itchiness in lower body for over 2 weeks"; fatigue (medically significant) with onset 08jan2022, outcome "recovered" (2022), described as "severe tiredness for over 2 weeks / not normal for 10 year old sports boy to be tired all the time"; product administered to patient of inappropriate age (non-serious), outcome "unknown", described as "inappropriate age at vaccine administration". therapeutic measures were taken as a result of pruritus, fatigue.1 day later on 08jan2022, the patient experienced severe itchiness in lower body and severe tiredness, persisting for over 2 weeks. the reporter commented that it was not normal for a 10-year-old sporty boy to be tired all the time. the patient was treated with zyrtec. no follow-up attempts are possible. no further information is expected
